Okay, I survived the first day back! It wasn't horrible, most classes didn't have us do anything major. It just was a bit repetitive having every single class make me do an assignment on what my New Year resolutions are but it's bettet than real work while I'm adjusting to school again. After I got home, I ate a snack then fell asleep for an hour and was almost late for my dance class because of it. I'm assuming I can expect this sort of thing a lot over the next few weeks. That's really all I did today. No new updates to this site yet because I haven't found the time until now. I think the next time I go on break, I'm going to learn how to do my own layouts and CSS and revamp the whole thing. I think in the meantime, I'll start learning over the weekends and maybe set up a practice page to display each element (+ so I can inspect said page and use that code as reference.) Great idea I just came up with!

I have to go back to school tomorrow. BLECH. Hopefully I keep updating this kind of frequently. I'm really not excited because school means I'll be subject to the most insufferable people imaginable for like 8 hours straight all while every class is filled with extremely rowdy rooms of screaming teenagers. AUGH. The only good thing is that school gives me a structure for the day, which is nice. But it also means that I only have like 3-4 hours of free time compared to... 24 I guess when I'm on break. SIGH. At least it's semester 2 now, halfway over already. I don't know, I'm just sort of dreading this. In better news, I finally got 4 Radiohead CDs I ordered today! I got Com Lag, I Might Be Wrong (Live Recordings), The King of Limbs, and that EMI cashgrab Best Of CD that I hate because of this whole thing which the linked article explains very well, but I still got it because the latter three albums were all in one listing. I guess it's a pretty interesting bit of Radiohead history to own, though Thom & Co's discontent for the release does make me feel uneasy about it. While I'm on the topic of Thommy, I read somewhere that The Trial is one of his favorite books, so that's half of why I started reading it maybe a month and a half ago (the other reason is just that I wanted to get into Kafka) and I still haven't finished it. It's honestly embarassing bringing the same book to school for a super long time but I don't read much at home, in part due to the aforementioned free time thing. I read mostly at lunch, in my theatre class (when I'm not needed for anything, of course), sometimes in history, and when I have nothing to do in any other class. I mostly stay on top of my assignments all the time because I enjoy not having anything to do. Or maybe I enjoy having something to work intensely on. I think both are true in their own respect. Sorry for such a long post, I'm kind of just writing whatever comes to mind because I don't want to go to bed and wake up early. Currently listening to A Light for Attracting Attention, SO beautiful ugh I love The Smile a lot. Speech Bubbles sounds particularily wonderful to me right now, I love Thom's vocals on it. I feel like I really sleep on this band because I've listened to every album a nice number of times and love them, but also I listen to Thom solo/Radiohead far far more often because I have a bit more of an emotional attachment I guess. Ugh I don't know what I'm even writing. I forgot everything we learned in math before break so I hope my teacher reteaches us... I think I'm fine to return to all my classes without refreshing on the material. I need to memorize my monologue for theatre, we have a show in a few weeks and I only have it like 80%. Well I have a monologue I'm doing for our showcase and a dialouge heavy character in our play and it's like I'm mostly good on everything but since we're being graded on lines soon I need to be sure. Oh, updates-wise, this site is now a part of the Radioring! I also added a bit to my "bookshelf" page which doesn't have much still but eventually will. You won't find it via the left menu, check to the right of this iframe ;) I'm just gonna stop writing now, my general rule for sleep on weekdays is to try and go to sleep before 11 if I don't have anything pressing to work on, and it's getting close. Sigggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Happy semester 2 I guess,

Okay so a LOT just changed over the past 24 hours, most notably, the domain! I have completely fallen in love with Neocities over the last couple months and decided that it was time to just switch. I used to use Firebase, but that's a Google service and of course it's shoving AI garbage down my throat, so I figured now's a better time than any to switch. I especially like that this is an actual community, so maybe people will see my website and find it interesting or something :) So yeah! It does look a bit silly having a 10 minute old account with a fully built website, but whatever haha. Okay, bye-bye!

My GOODNESS!!! Happy new year! I am so so so sorry for not updating here in basically a month, I kind of got caught up in doing a lot of nothing but also school, sleep, movies, etc. I'm back though, hopefully working on this website quite a bit. I'm honestly thinking about keeping it as a kind of personal website rather than a solely Radiohead based website, though since my personal life is deeply connected to the band, it'll be a bit of both of course. As I mentioned in my last post, I attended the December 5th Radiohead show! It was absolutely amazing!! I already wrote quite a bit about it in various places and talked everyone I know's heads off about it so I may not write anything completely original for this site, but I'll try to collect my various writings in one spot and maybe make a cohesive journal type thing. It'll be cool, but it might not get done for a while. I also have to worry about dance competitions and high school choices this month, so this may be the most I'm really writing (though I hope otherwise). I don't know, I'll just be going through some stuff tonight and trying different things out to see how I like them. Have a WONDERFUL 2026!!!
